The Levant Files (TLF) is opening its platform to guest writers.
We invite scholars, researchers, journalists, analysts, independent writers and emerging voices to submit proposals for original articles focusing on the Levant and its broader neighbourhood.
We welcome contributions covering a broad spectrum of subjects and perspectives, including politics, human rights and rights-related issues, society, history, culture, international relations, security, diplomacy, political economy and regional affairs. We are particularly interested in articles that offer fresh perspectives, informed analysis and voices that can enrich debate about a region undergoing profound change.

Article Length
Published contributions should not exceed 800 words.
How to Apply
Writers interested in contributing are invited to send:
a provisional title;
a short abstract outlining the proposed article; and
a brief biography of the author.

The Levant has never existed in isolation. Its politics, peoples, histories and conflicts are intertwined with those of its wider neighbourhood. The Levant Files wants to provide space for the voices, ideas and perspectives that can help us understand these connections.
