Iran Vows Retaliation on Israeli Nuclear Sites Using Obtained Intelligence

Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) issued a stark warning on Monday, declaring that Tehran would use recently obtained strategic information to target Israeli atomic sites if its nuclear facilities come under attack. The council further cautioned that any "act of evil against [Iran's] economic and military infrastructure" would be met with a precise, reciprocal response.

According to Nournews, the SNSC highlighted its intelligence apparatus's success in acquiring a "vast quantity of strategic and sensitive information and documents related to the Zionist regime's nuclear sites." The council's statement asserted this intelligence enables its armed forces to "immediately counter any potential attack by the Zionist regime on the country's nuclear facilities by attacking its secret nuclear facilities" using the gathered documents and data.

This threat was bolstered by a separate announcement from Iran's Ministry of Intelligence on Tuesday, which described the intelligence haul as a "uniquely historic achievement" that shattered "the myth of the regime's invincibility." The Ministry claimed its operatives penetrated multiple Israeli security layers, successfully transferring a "substantial volume" of sensitive documents to Iran. These documents reportedly contain strategic, operational, and scientific details about Israel's alleged covert nuclear weapons program, including facilities, plans, and research collaborations with American and European institutions.

The Ministry further detailed that the obtained information includes data on Israel's military and missile programs, technical records, and profiles of key personnel. It stated that Iran's armed forces would use portions of these documents, some shared with allied nations or "anti-Zionist organizations." At the same time, other parts could be released publicly or utilized for domestic research. The Ministry also alleged the documents reveal US and European complicity in Israel's weapons programs.

The first construction phase features the new Presidential Building and Parliament Building, inaugurated during a grand ceremony attended by Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Dubbed by critics as a "show of sovereignty," the event, alongside the concurrent Teknofest technology festival, has drawn criticism from Turkish Cypriot researcher-writer Mete Hatay for its political undertones and symbolic messaging. Hatay, a noted peace researcher affiliated with the Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO), argues that the openings were not merely about inaugurating buildings but about constructing symbols of dominance under the guise of sovereignty. Hatay describes the events as meticulously staged platforms for political agendas. "Today in Northern Cyprus, it wasn't just buildings that were opened; symbols w...
