Ιράν: Νέα Εποχή — Ο Μοτζτάμπα Χαμενεΐ Ανέλαβε την Ανώτατη Ηγεσία

Ο Μοτζτάμπα Χαμενεΐ είναι πλέον ο νέος Ανώτατος Ηγέτης της Ισλαμικής Δημοκρατίας του Ιράν. Το BBC World News και πλήθος διεθνών μέσων ενημέρωσης επιβεβαίωσαν επίσημα την είδηση την Κυριακή 8 Μαρτίου, λίγες ημέρες αφότου η ενημερωτική πύλη The Levant Files την είχε ήδη αποκαλύψει.

Η εξέλιξη αυτή ακολουθεί τον θάνατο του Αγιατολάχ Αλί Χαμενεΐ στις 28 Φεβρουαρίου, όταν το Ιράν δέχθηκε κοινή αμερικανο-ισραηλινή αεροπορική επιδρομή στην πρωτεύουσα. Στην ίδια επίθεση, σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες που επιβεβαιώθηκαν εκ των υστέρων, σκοτώθηκε και η σύζυγος του Μοτζτάμπα, Ζέρα Χαντάντ Άντελ.

Η Μεταβίβαση Εξουσίας που Ανατρέπει τους Κανόνες

Η ανάληψη εξουσίας από τον Μοτζτάμπα Χαμενεΐ, γιο του εκλιπόντος ηγέτη, αποτελεί πρωτοφανές γεγονός στην ιστορία της Ισλαμικής Δημοκρατίας — ενός συστήματος που επίσημα απορρίπτει την κληρονομική διαδοχή εξουσίας. Σύμφωνα με πηγές που επικαλείται το BBC, το Συμβούλιο Εμπειρογνωμόνων κατέληξε στην επιλογή αυτή υπό ισχυρές πιέσεις από τους Φρουρούς της Επανάστασης.

Η απόφαση έχει ήδη πυροδοτήσει σφοδρές συζητήσεις για τη νομιμότητά της. Ο 56χρονος Μοτζτάμπα δεν φέρει τον τίτλο «Αγιατολάχ», ενώ κάποιες θρησκευτικές πηγές τον θεωρούν ανεπαρκή από θεολογική και νομική σκοπιά για το ανώτατο αξίωμα. Επιπλέον, υπάρχουν ισχυρισμοί ότι ο ίδιος ο Αλί Χαμενεΐ δεν είχε συμπεριλάβει τον γιο του στη λίστα πιθανών διαδόχων που είχε καταρτίσει το 2025.

Ποιος Είναι ο Νέος Ηγέτης

Γεννημένος στις 8 Σεπτεμβρίου 1969 στη Μεσχέντ, ο Μοτζτάμπα μεγάλωσε μέσα στο πολιτικό κλίμα της Ιρανικής Επανάστασης. Σπούδασε στο Κομ, υπό σκληροπυρηνικούς κληρικούς όπως ο Αγιατολάχ Μισμπάχ Γιαζντί, και υπηρέτησε στον πόλεμο Ιράν–Ιράκ. Ποτέ δεν κατείχε εκλεγμένο αξίωμα, ωστόσο για χρόνια λειτούργησε ως ο πλέον επιδραστικός παρασκηνιακός παράγοντας στο περιβάλλον της ανώτατης ηγεσίας, με στενούς δεσμούς στους Φρουρούς της Επανάστασης.

Το αμερικανικό Υπουργείο Οικονομικών του είχε επιβάλει κυρώσεις ήδη από το 2019, συνδέοντάς τον με πολυτελή ακίνητα στο Λονδίνο και το Ντουμπάι, καθώς και με υπεράκτια χρηματοοικονομικά δίκτυα. Ακόμη, αποδίδεται σε αυτόν ρόλος στην καταστολή του Πράσινου Κινήματος το 2009.

Ο Μοτζτάμπα αναλαμβάνει σε μία από τις πιο κρίσιμες στιγμές στη σύγχρονη ιστορία του Ιράν: η χώρα διαχειρίζεται τις συνέπειες της επιδρομής, βρίσκεται αντιμέτωπη με εξωτερικές πιέσεις, κυρώσεις και περιφερειακές εντάσεις, ενώ εσωτερικά διακυβεύεται η συνοχή του καθεστώτος. Οι αναλυτές εκτιμούν ότι το κύριο έρεισμά του παραμένει ο στρατιωτικός βραχίονας των Φρουρών της Επανάστασης.
